-WHAT: “What All People Who Eat Should Know About Genetically Engineered Food” presented by Rhio, raw food activist, Wednesday, January 30th, 7:30 p.m. Everyone eats, and everyone should have the right to know what they are eating. Rhio will discuss what many people do not know about the genetically modified/engineered food industry and how it affects our earth, our bodies, and what to look out for in the future. Rhio and her partner Leigh will perform some entertaining original songs to kick off the evening.

WHO: Rhio is a singer and author, as well as an investigative reporter in the area of health and environmental issues. Her first book, Hooked on Raw, is about living a life more closely aligned with nature by adopting a raw/live food lifestyle. Rhio has appeared on CNN and American Journal as an expert in the area of raw and living foods and lectures on both the raw/live food lifestyle and the genetic engineering of seeds/plants. Rhio hosts an internet radio show called Hooked on Raw which can be heard worldwide at www.TribecaRadio.net.
